We work on microwave lab-on-chip (µ-LoC) techniques, i.e. microwave microsystems, for which we study and develop electronic devices, circuits, and systems from DC to terahertz frequencies. We also develop microwave microfluidic & nanofluidic devices and study the microwave properties of biological and chemical substances.
Microwave engineering, nanoscale science, nanotechnology, and semiconductor electronics are the basic science and technical areas of our research. Close interactions and collaborations with biomedical and chemical communities are also indispensable for our work.
We are excited about µ-LoC, which is a new frontier with great potential to address some of the grand challenges in science, engineering and global health as further elaborated here.
